After all things happened in the Philippines. Our very own Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao put down a Mexican-American fighter David Diaz. Starting in the first round Pacquiao took advantage to Diaz until next round and so for. Pacquiao got an easy advantage because of early cut obtained by Diaz and he landed his punches with timing. Diaz cannot be easily down, he is in condition, strong resistance and stamina to take the punches landed to him. And in round 9 Pacquiao cached a very open shot and put it down Diaz in 24 seconds remaining in round 9. It resulted to TKO and Pacquiao announced the new WBC lightweight champion of the world.
This is the 4th title of Manny Pacquiao in his carreer. In his interview after his fight, he can fight up to 140 lbs. Last time I heard rumors that there’s a possibility to fight the Golden Boy Oscar De la Hoya. I’m really not sure it is true or just media intrigues. If this is true, these will be the greatest fight of all time the battle of pound for pound boxers.
A dream come true for Pacquiao to meet his idol NBA superstar Kevin Garnett together with Paul Pierce, Sam Casselle and others players of Boston Celtics the 2008 NBA Champions. The champ meet the champs . . .
In his big win to Diaz he raised it up his fame. There are reports that Pacquiao will give share to the victim of typhoon Frank in his country the Philippines. Pacquiao we salute on you, Your the best there is, the best there was and the best ever will be.
